Devon St Lukes Cup final 2008.

Below, on the extreme right, we have Brett Huxtable, (north Devon's own level 3) who was 4th official at the recent Devon St. Lukes cup final. It was a good job he was there since, because of injury , one of the assistants couldn’t complete the game and Brett had to take over during the 2nd half.

Devon Intermediate Cup final 2008

Prior to the commencement of the Devon County Intermediate cup final we have the Bradworthy boys on a night out. Referee Mike Curtis joined by his assistants Paul Furse (2nd Left) and Graham Harris (right). Also pictured on Mike’s left is 4th official Tom James.

Devon County Senior cup final 2008

Pictured below before the start of the Devon Senior cup final is referee Dave Loder flanked by assistants Ian Gilmour (left) and Fred Saunders. Also never one to miss a picture opportunity is Mike Stevens on the extreme left..

North Devon RA President receives award.

                 NDRA president Brian Pearce was recently presented with a special award by the Devon County FA to mark his 40 years service to the game as a referees Instructor.

Sports Tours Youth event at Braunton 2008

The two photos below were taken at a Sports Tours UK two-day Youth event at Lobb Field, Braunton in April 2008.

                 The first picture shows (from left to right) is; Paul Baldwin, Alan Webster, Richard Bradbury (a level 5 referee from London, Tony Butler and Peter Sercombe.

In this picture we have top local referee Dave Loder (left) in his role of Boca Senior’s secretary and Boca Manager Darren Todd (extreme right) receiving the very well deserved  Charles Norsworthy trophy for their clubs conduct during the past season

Just after the Woman’s Devon cup final we have (in the dark) referee Alan Webster (2^nd from the right) flanked by two up and coming young referees from the north, Peter ‘slim’ Sercombe (on Alan’s right) and Fred ‘one good knee’ Saunders

 Here we have a motley bunch of north Devon referees after they had taken charge of the Devon Senior Sunday cup final.

Hansen Cup final

Below we have the officials from the 2009 Hansen cup final. Referee Ian Johns (centre) with his assistants Gary Paine (left) and Andy Palmer (right)

How about this photo from the past? Centre back row is none other that our long suffering appointments secretary Mike Stevens and front row extreme right is former top local referee, and now assessors Brian Fishleigh. Concentration is the key to doing a good job as an assistant, and (right) we have this being ideally shown by Fred Saunders in the Combe Martin cup final.

 A pity the flag is in the wrong hand!!
